So, in this video, Dr. Hansa ji Yogendra speaks about the pros and cons of going gluten-free

Gluten is a type of protein found in grains such as wheat, barley, rye, and triticale. It is composed of two main proteins: glutenin and gliadin. Gluten is responsible for the elastic and chewy texture in many baked goods, as it gives dough its ability to rise and retain its shape.

Gluten provides structure to foods and helps them maintain their shape and texture. It is widely used in the food industry as a binding agent, thickener, and stabilizer. Common foods that typically contain gluten include bread, pasta, cereal, baked goods, and many processed foods.

This condition is known as non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and people with this condition find relief from symptoms by following a gluten-free diet.

· Wheat allergy: Wheat allergy is an immune reaction to specific proteins found in wheat. In this case, avoiding gluten is necessary to prevent allergic reactions, which can range from mild symptoms to severe allergic responses.

· Personal preference or perceived health benefits: Some people choose a gluten-free diet as a personal preference or because they believe it may offer health benefits, such as weight loss or improved digestion
