Three orphaned bear cubs have been returned to the wild. In July of 2022, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife rescued the three little bears and brought them to the Ramona Wildlife Center in San Diego. For nine months, staff at the Ramona Wildlife Center have rehabilitated the bears from a distance. They allowed the animals to roam and learn to forage for their own food without human intervention, while still making sure they got veterinary care.
