Taco Bell wants the phrase “Taco Tuesday” to be available to all. The massive fast-food chain is battling smaller Wyoming-based brand Taco John's trying to get them to abandon their claim to the trademark. Fun fact: Taco John’s has had the “Taco Tuesday” trademark since the ‘80s. But experts say the term “Taco Tuesday” could possibly be an example of “genericide” since it’s so widely used by many.
