Where do your food scraps go? Climate scientists say reducing this form of waste could be a key to curbing climate change. The Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives studied waste management in eight cities across the world. It released a report showing that waste separation, recycling and composting programs can cut methane emissions by 80%.
