What actually IS Anorexia Nervosa? And why ISN’T recovery as simple as “just eating”? —If you’re looking to gain a better understanding of what a friend or family member is going through, or are simply here out of curiosity to educate yourself a little on the topic of Eating Disorders, this video is for you. Coming from someone who’s currently struggling, this video is an insight on what someone suffering from typical Anorexia might be experiencing, citing trusted medical sources (linked below), explaining signs, symptoms, and the most common treatment pathways, AKA what recovery is ACTUALLY like.
Anorexia has the highest mortality rate of ALL mental illnesses, ANYONE can be suffering, there is no “Eating Disorder look”. Created with the intention to inform others and help spread awareness, I hope this video is able to expand public knowledge and help break stigmas surrounding Anorexia. ❤️‍🩹
