Eating Disorders Nursing & NCLEX Review
Eating disorders are defined by a chronic disturbance in eating that interferes with one's health or psychosocial functioning. Food cravings, skewed body images, and obsessional thinness are all aspects of these diseases. Women account for 90% of all eating disorders. The disorders include anorexia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa, pica, and rumination disorder.
